Kidneys most of the time are taken for granted, maybe, it’s because when they’re functioning normally, we forget of what a truly impressive the function the kidneys have. The kidneys not only balance fluid content in the body, removing extra fluid and water from the body but, they filter the blood, produce an enzyme (renin) that help control blood pressure, also produces a hormone that helps make red blood cells, they activate vitamin D to maintain healthy bones, and adjust levels of minerals and other chemicals that keep the body working properly.
