This is the modified recipe for the detox Lemonade diet, introduced by
TheLemonadeDiet.com
where the ingredients of the Master Cleanser have
been modified to the specific needs of Pre-Diabetics or Type II Diabetics.
  • The Original Recipe for the Master Cleanser
    Lemonade Diet uses Maple Syrup Grade B, but in
    order to modify this cleanse, the recipe  has
    replaced the Maple Syrup with Certified Organic
    Agave which is the perfect sweetening option for
    those concerned with sugar in their diet or with
    cutting empty carbohydrates. Agave,is produced  
    from the cactus-like agave plant in Mexico, is an
    organic, plant-derived sweetener with a glycemic
    index of only 27.  
The Lemonade Master Cleanser Recipe with Agave
Suggested for Pre-Diabetics and Type II Diabetics
The following is a suggested Agave-Lemonade Cleanse.  It is recommended to
follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days. Use common sense and follow the diet for
as many days as you can take it, without of course exceeding the recommended time.
  Please keep track of your blood sugar levels, as some of the ingredients are going
to improve your condition.   
 
  • The night before starting: Take one “Cascara Sagrada” laxative capsule.  (see
    Master Cleanser Book, page 21) It is recommended that you have two or three
    movements a day.
  • Every Morning: Take one “Cascara Sagrada” laxative capsule. or drink the
    “Internal Salt Water Bathing” (one or the other, please make sure you don’t do
    both, it may cause diarrhea)
  • Every Evening: Take one “Cascara Sagrada” laxative capsule.

Morning and Evening Agave Lemonade:
  •  2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon or Lime Juice (approx. ½ lemon) Organic if possible.
  •  1 table-spoon  of Agave Syrup
  •  1/10 tsp Cinnamon  (a pinch, or the tip of the teaspoon)
  •   In a 10 oz. glass combine the juice, syrup and cinnamon.
  •  8 oz. spring or Distilled water (you may use hot or cold water. I personally
    recommend ice cold water, you may add crushed ice.

 Drink your lemonade with 1 Cayenne capsule (don’t open the capsule)

During the day  another 4 to 6 glasses of Agave Lemonade:       
The only difference in preparation is
don’t use cinnamon, and only 2 more Cayenne
Capsules, making it a
total of 4 capsules a day.

How much to Drink: 6 to 8 glasses of the lemonade. Six (6) is enough, if you want to
lose weight.   Minimum 6 glasses of Agave lemonade, remember the lemonade is
your food in liquid form.
Internal Salt Water Bathing: You may use this method in the morning instead laxative
capsule.
Preparation: Prepare a full quart of warm water and add two level teaspoons of un-
iodized sea salt. Drink the full quart first thing in the morning. This method will cleanse
the entire digestive tract. If you are going out, give yourself at least 2 hours before
going out.

Teas:  You may drink at any time 1  Cranberry tea.
And during the day you may drink  peppermint tea, or other herbal teas.
